Youth and Family Alternatives, Inc. (“YFA”) is supported by various local community groups within its eleven county service area. These groups include Rotary clubs as well as other community, civic and church groups. Founded in 1970, YFA is recognized as one of the leading child and family service organizations in the Tampa Bay area. YFA's services and programs have reached more than 175,000 children and families. Comprehensive programs include three runaway and youth crisis shelters. Other services include family counseling, as well as foster care and adoption case management services. YFA is supported by United Way.
