The Parenting Program, which is funded by Eckerd Community Alternatives, provides in-home validation services for parenting skills as well as monitoring of reunifications. The Parenting Coordinator is referred to validate parenting classes taken through various approved parenting programs. The Coordinator provides home services for approximately 6-8 weeks and provides feedback to the referral source. Most clients are referred to services after completion of a court approved parenting class as part of a dependency case plan.
