November 18, 2017 is National Adoptions Day and during the month of November our adoption services programs are celebrating their involvement in ensuring our kids find a "forever family." Today, our Pasco Adoption Services Program (pictured above) celebrated the adoption of 20 children who were in our care and who, today, were adopted into 14 different "forever families."

Friday, November 17th, our Manatee Adoption Services Program will celebrate the adoption of at least three children and on Wednesday, November 22nd, our Citrus Adoption Services Program will celebrate the adoption of at least nine adoptions.

Last year, our programs helped to ensure some 366 children and youth found their "forever families."   Since 2005, our adoptions programs have participated in the adoption of over 2,700 children and youth.

Our programs have many special need children who are available for adoption.  You may see some of these children and youth through our partners'  Adoption Spots,  Heart Gallery of Sarasota,  and Pinellas-Pasco Heart Gallery.

According to their website, "National Adoption Day is a collective national effort to raise awareness of the more than 110,000 children in foster care waiting to find permanent, loving families. A coalition of national partners – Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute, The Alliance for Children’s Rights and Children’s Action Network – sponsor National Adoption Day."
